1. Exact & vPlan

Exact Online has different modules with different options and functionalities. We will briefly explain each module!

Exact Online Production
In the production module, you can create work orders, sales orders and orders. Within the work orders, the integration with vPlan will ensure that your complete parts list will be pulled over. Think of operations and materials. It is also possible to retrieve machining stations so that you can visually plan your orders on these.

Exact Online Projectmanagement
vPlan retrieves your projects from Exact, so you can plan them visually. Within vPlan, the registered time can be sent back to your accounting system. Useful for your budget monitoring and invoicing.

Retrieve WBS projects, for example, or projects with the Hours per Hour type. Within WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), it is even possible to define how the link will work, think of plans per deliverable or per activity.

Exact Online Commerce
With Exact Online Commerce, we can retrieve sales orders, orders, quotations and items with unit hours.

Exact Online HR
In Exact Online HR it is possible to create employees with a schedule. The integration retrieves all information from Exact and puts it into vPlan. This includes employees, rosters and absences such as leave and absence. This way, you accurately determine available capacity.

Exact Online Hours & Invoices
Within the Hours & Invoices module of Exact Online, it is possible to create general projects. Data such as the project code, description, delivery date and more can be retrieved via the integration.

What is vPlan?
vPlan is the planning tool to plan, organise and communicate your work. Get a grip on your capacity, priority and deadlines.

Share your planning easily and collaborate in real time in one tool. Within a minute, you synchronise data between vPlan and Exact. So you always have the information you need at hand.

3. How does it work? And what are the possibilities?

Per Exact Online module, different components can be retrieved.

Incoming data
When Exact Online and vPlan are integrated, incoming data flows from Exact into vPlan. This includes information such as customer data, sales orders, materials, warehouses and financial data. This is different for each module.

Outgoing data
You can send data from Exact to vPlan but it is also possible to send data from vPlan back to Exact.

For example, you can update the planned date of production and sales orders to Exact from vPlan. You can also send the status of production and sales orders from vPlan to Exact Online, via selection codes.

Do you register time in vPlan? Then you can send these registrations to Exact Online. Time records can be sent back to Exact Online for work orders and projects. See below an example of time registration in vPlan.
